Tarawera 50km Training Plan and Support Group

This plan kicked off on the 2nd of October, but it's not too late to join us!

Grab our 20 week, 50km training plan and jump into our Tarawera Support Group for everything you need to build up to the event in February 2024. 

By joining our Tarawera Crew you will get: 

  • A Run Club 20 week training plan for the 50km event. The plan is premade and prescribes 3-4 distance based runs a week. A base level of 20-30km total running a week is recommended in the 2 months leading up to the plan starting on the 2nd October.

  • Access to our private Tarawera 50km training and support group where you can encourage others, ask questions and be supported by Run Coach Eve in the lead up to the event.

Sunday Run Group

Join our free weekly Sunday group runs and explore local trails with a fun and inclusive bunch of runners. 

When: Sunday mornings at 8am.
Where: At various trails around Wellington, we change the run location each week. 
Distance: Up to 10km.
Cost: Free.

Wednesday Night Runs

Run with us on Wednesday nights starting from Pukehuia Park in Newlands. 

When: Wednesday nights, 6:30pm.
Where: Meet Pukehuia Park, Newlands.
Distance: We run up to 1 hour, all paces are welcome and you can run shorter than 1 hour.
Cost: Free.

Personal Training 
Based in Newlands the Life In Motion studio is the perfect space to reach your movement goals. Using free weights and bodyweight exercises all 30min sessions are tailored to your ability and designed to offer you maximum support and accountability. 

Pricing for 30min studio sessions:
1 Studio session/week $40
2 Studio sessions/week $70
3 Studio sessions/week $90
